SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR SUPPLY OF EMERGENCY FODDER TO 3 DROUGHT AFFECTED VILLAGES IN DOLLOW AND BELETHAWA DISTRICTS.
Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI) is implementing a Somalia Resilience Programme in Dolow and Belethawa Districts, Gedo Region, Southern Somalia. The goal of the project is “Increase the resilience of chronically vulnerable people, HHs, communities and systems in targeted pastoral, agro-pastoral and peri-urban livelihood zones”. One of the main result of this project is “ Improved absorption capacity of HHs and communities through collective action in support of effective disaster risk management, adoption of positive coping strategies and improved access to formal and informal safety nets. ”. As part of the activities supporting this result and respond to the emergency needs as a result of the prevailing drought, COOPI intends to provide emergency fodder to drought affected pastoralists in Shirko, Arabo and Beeri-tirVillages, in Belet-Hawa and Dollow Districts.The quotation should include delivery of fodder in the above mentioned villages. Submitted bids should indicate the price per unit and should be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of the bid.
COOPI invites qualified contractors to collect quotation bidding documents as specified herein below. The quotations should be addressed to COOPERAZIONEINTERNAZIONALE(COOPI) in sealed envelope marked SOMREP DFAT/007/2017“SUPPLY OF EMERGENCY FODDER TO 3 DROUGHT AFFECTED VILLAGES IN DOLLOW AND BELETHAWA DISTRICTS“.
Costs incurred by the supplier in preparing and submitting the quotation will not be reimbursed.

The deadline for submitting the Bid is 15.00 hours, East African Time on February 20th, 2017 at theCOOPI Mogadishu Office. Any tender received after this deadline will not be considered.
